This recipe is keto and low carb because it doesn’t include any breadcrumbs, and you don’t need any with this recipe.
I added feta cheese, spring onions and sundried tomatoes and it was even better than the last time I made it.
Steps to make Air Fryer Tuna Cakes
Step 1. Combine all the ingredients together
In a large bowl, mix all these ingredients together:
4 (3-ounce) pouches tuna, drained
1 large egg, whisked
2 tablespoons peeled and chopped white onion
½ teaspoon Old Bay or other seasoning
Step 2. Form into patties
Form the batter into four or more patties.
Step 3. Air fry the patties
Place patties into air fryer basket or tray. Air fry at 400°F for 10 or more minutes. Patties will be browned and crispy when done.
Step 4. Air fry until done
Make sure the patties are fully cooked by breaking one apart and seeing if it looks done.
Step 5. Enjoy
Serve with a salad or your choice of side.
